Summary of Events 2006

Thursday Night: Extra keen rally goers started arriving before Stan and his trusty Co had managed to get everything sorted for the main assault on the friday, well if that doesn't prove you enjoyed yourself last year nothing will!

Friday night: Well you have braved the ferry crossing and once again dodged the low flying wildlife, avoided being lost forever in one of the Islands notorious pot-holes and made it to the site. Unfortunatly our promised welcoming committee damaged an elbow and so was unable to greet rallyists in the manner they were expecting. Hopefully normal service (!?) will resume next year and we will once again have a French maid on the gate. Fancy dress with the theme of fun fetish or fantasy with no disco. We put on two bands with some music between them and everybody was having such a good time the lack of proper disco went unnoticed..

Saturday night: No wedding to entertain you this year so we have scratched our heads to come up with an exciting program for this evening. Instead of that we managed this! Fancy dress once again, rumours of a Rocky Horror type stage show which due to technical problems never happened, and two more bands, accompanied with the ususal frantic drinking and revelry associated with saturday night at the rally. Fancy dress may be worn every evening and day-time as well if such a thing grabs you; however daytime wearing of fancy dress is at your own risk! If an over-zealous member of the opposite sex comes chasing after you or you get chilblains on your unmentionable bits then don't come running to us for sympathy for as you well know by now rally control is manned (and womanned) by a bunch of sadidts who will only inflict more pain for their own personal satisfaction!

Sunday: The usual silly games made up on the spur of the moment (well you didn't think we planned them ... did you?) Mr Speedo's and Miss Swimwear competition to be held pool-side. Two more bands and the final night for wearing your fancy dress, which may be looking a little bedraggled by now, and anything else we forgot to do on the other two nights.

Bands, for those of you who were interested, were in no particular order: Pear Tree Bridge Family, Camouflage, Skybus, Side Tracked, Risky Business and Maxwell Brothers, once confirmed we will update you.

On Site bar, food both veggie and dead animal eaters catered for, and of course the swimming pool, so I am glad you brought your swimwear as some of the children are still in therapy after Stan's dip in the white thong!
